The Rev. Dr. Jeffrey K. Boer was born in Sanborn,
Iowa, the second of seven children and was raised in the Christian Reformed Church.
Dr. Boer is also a Professor of Practical Theology and serves on the Executive Committee of Reformation Christian Ministry (RCM), a missions support organization. RCM also has a college and seminary program: Reformation International Theological Seminary (RITS) and Reformation International College (RIC). Dr. Boer serves as a member of the RITS Doctoral Committee responsible for making decisions with respect to doctoral candidates. Sharon OPC is one of two churches that oversee the ministry work of RCM.
Dr. Boer is presently the Stated Clerk of the Presbytery of the South of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, and has previously served as the Chairman of the Candidates and Credentials Committee of that presbytery.
He is married to Barbara Jean Kramm, and father to Casey (Crystal) and Jordan Boer. He is grandfather to Cara Boer.
